![]() ![]() Our success culminated in the passing of the first divestment resolution in the southeastern United States. This seemed the most effective way as students to make a tangible impact on our community and to this we succeeded. Reading on the success and organization of various SJP chapters across North America, I was inspired to continue the struggle to educate and advocate in our student community by creating such a student organization. Students for Justice in Palestine is a nationwide, non-hierarchical student organization with over 80 chapters working independently towards the same goal: an end to Israel’s violation of human rights and a just resolution to the Israel-Palestine conflict. ![]() Upon returning to the United States, and after much deliberation on how best we could show our solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for self-determination, we decided to found a chapter of SJP at Oglethorpe University. It was after my first trip to the West Bank that I was initially inspired to create the group, where I saw firsthand the conditions and oppression the Palestinians were forced to endure. Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza have sadly become accustomed to the systematic violation of their human rights, basic dignity, and any meek sense of security one may be able to foster in such an environment. The summer 2014 assault, known as Operation Protective Edge, claimed the lives of over 2,100 Palestinians, over 70% of which were civilians. We founded the Oglethorpe chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine in February 2014, shortly before Israel would unleash havoc on Gaza, yet again, with even more destruction and devastation than the previous offensives. More importantly, however, I would like to use this opportunity to encourage the university’s investment committee and administration to heed the call of our student body and actively divest from the companies found to be complicit in Israel’s crimes. Given the historic nature of this victory, I would like to provide some background information on our organization and the campaign in general. As president and founder of the Oglethorpe chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP-OU), I could not be more proud of my university and fellow students for taking a stance against the systematic injustice and humiliation suffered by the Palestinian people on a daily basis. On April 30, Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia became the first university in the southeastern United States to successfully pass an Israeli divestment resolution, a huge victory for supporters of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement as adversaries have shown renewed vigor in pushing for anti-BDS legislation in an attempt to stop the tactic. The university values any efforts by our students to make a difference in the world, and encourages constructive, open dialogue among its students and greater campus community.” “The Oglethorpe University Board of Trustees Finance Committee has reviewed the resolution submitted by the Oglethorpe Students for Justice in Palestine and has decided to continue with our current investment policy. Following the Oglethorpe University Student government’s passage of a resolution calling for the school to divest from the Israeli occupation, the university’s Board of Trustees issued the following statement: ![]()

![]() The desire to communicate in random chat.Simply put, here is a list of all necessary that you need: Of great importance is the speed of Internet connections, as is necessary for the transmission of video, as well as audio. So you and your companion will be able to immerse themselves in the communication that takes a lot of pleasant sensations. In addition, for realistic communication with people on the Internet, you must have and a microphone. But seriously, you need to have a webcam (sometimes video), which in some cases, you need to configure (set up as a webcam for casual chat, see below). Principle of work of the random video chatįor communicate in a random video chat, you must go to a random chat :) (just kidding). But the main thing is that you see your buddy! People often associate it with this random text chat. If you have a bad conversational speech in a foreign language, the video chat is the ability to write text to a so-called text chat. Of course, in order to communicate that in a random video chat in different languages, such as French, German, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Ukrainian, etc., you must know the language. ![]() Every stranger with whom you soedenyaetes can be anywhere in the world, be of any nationality and speak their language. ![]() In this case, you have a video chat with the following string any other person. At any moment the stranger may refuse to communicate with you and hang up. Random russian video chat - a chat, which allows you to chat with someone from Russia to whom you are connected by accident. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These factors are determined, however, by (i) the relative orientations, (ii) the intermolecular distances, and (iii) the energy matches involving neighboring redox-active units. The efficiency of intra- as well as intermolecular charge mobilities in organic semiconductors relies (6) on maximizing electronic coupling and minimizing reorganizational energies associated with charge transport between neighboring π-conjugated redox-active units. Understanding of the geometrical constraints between multiple redox-active aromatic building blocks that exhibit efficient electron hopping and delocalization has presented a considerable challenge to those researchers fabricating (1-5) organic photovoltaic and molecular electronic devices. #TRIANGLE ISOSCELES SERIES#The evaluation of the structure–performance relationships of this series of diimide-based triangles reveals that the increase in the number of NDI subunits, replacing PMDI ones, within the molecules improves the electrochemical cell performance of the batteries. The isosceles triangles have been employed as electrode-active materials in organic rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Continuous-wave electron paramagnetic resonance and electron–nuclear double-resonance spectroscopic investigations, supported by density functional theory calculations, on the single-electron reduced radical anions of the isosceles triangles confirm the selective sharing of unpaired electrons among adjacent redox-active NDI subunit(s) within both molecules. Cyclic voltammetry reveals that both isosceles triangles can accept reversibly up to six electrons. The rigid isosceles triangle, composed of one NDI and two PMDI subunits, forms-in the presence of N,N-dimethylformamide-two different types of intermolecular NDI–NDI and NDI–PMDI π–π stacked dimers with opposite helicities in the solid state. Unlike previously investigated equilateral triangle containing three identical NDI subunits, both isosceles triangles do not choose to form one-dimensional supramolecular nanotubes by dint of interaction-driven columnar stacking. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal their rigid triangular prism-like geometries. 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic investigations in solution confirm the lower symmetry ( C 2 point group) associated with these two isosceles triangles. ![]() Herein, we report on the synthesis, characterization, and application of two rigid chiral triangles, each of which consist of non-identical pyromellitic diimide (PMDI) and naphthalene diimide (NDI)-based redox-active units. Designing small-molecule organic redox-active materials, with potential applications in energy storage, has received considerable interest of late. ![]() |
